Parents
When a child under the age of thirteen (13) years old completes our registration form, we send his or her Parent an e-mail giving the Parent forty-eight (48) hours to refuse his or her child's registration. If the Parent refuses to allow his or her child's registration, we delete the child's information from our database. If the Parent chooses not to respond to our e-mail, we assume it is permissible for the child to be registered. Once a Parent permits his or her child to register, the child will be subscribed to the direct mail and e-mail promotional offers.
Profile
We store collected information in a data center, web server, software database, back up tapes and discs, and/or locked files. As is true of most Web sites, we also gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, clickstream data, page views, and search words.
